Girls, please remember when you register to use your @education.nsw.gov.au address in the email field as we can only confirm these addresses. All @hotmail, @gmail, etc addresses are filtered by the DET and those registrations are deleted automatically.

You must use a valid DET email address and your real name in the profile. It's a security issue.
Those of you who have used a gmail, hotmail, or other non-school account must edit their user profile and change it to a school account.

MOODLE RULES: a message from the moderator, Mr Henshaw.

Unkind, hurtful or aggressive remarks, whether they be spoken or written are not tolerated at our school. "Put downs" will not be tolerated on this site. Also, this is not a "Chat Room". When you respond to a forum discussion stay on track. Unless your teacher specifically requests it, text on coloured background should not be used - it is too hard to read. Don't use it! Vandalism of posts (i.e. using ridiculous sized fonts and unnecessary, unrelated graphics) will be followed up. (use of emoticons is fine!). No 13375p34k ("leetspeak") either.

WHY IS IT CALLED MOODLE?

The word Moodle is actually an acronym for Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment, although originally the M stood for "Martin", named after Martin Dougiamas, the original developer.

This site is designed to host interactive online learning activities for staff and students of North Sydney Girls High School. If you are a new "moodler" then you will need to register your account. To save confusion use your standard school username and login to register.
